5. Relative position of junctions and surfaces

5.1 Objective

Junction tolerancing and general tolerancing are sufficient to fully characterize the part. However, certain requirements between surfaces belonging to different parts call for relative junction positions with more precise tolerances.

The proposed approach makes it possible to define the links to be imposed on a part, without having to study all the dimension chains corresponding to the requirements.
