8. Private organizations

Technical bodies, generally private prevention associations or groups, assist employers in applying health and safety regulations. They provide their subscribers with documentation and technical advice, carry out compulsory periodic technical inspections [32] and perform atmosphere and noise measurements.

To carry out certain controls and measurements, the Ministry of Labor periodically draws up lists of approved organizations and individuals, chosen according to certain criteria (recognized competence, equipment and materials available, etc.) from among these private bodies.
