INTRODUCTION
Safeguarding the physical and mental integrity of people in the course of their professional activities is a necessity for good corporate management. It is a regulatory obligation for company managers, as well as for designers, manufacturers and distributors of work equipment and industrial installations.
Millions of people are affected, working in tens of thousands of different situations in hundreds of thousands of companies. Occupational risk prevention calls on all areas of scientific and technical knowledge. It represents a vast field, the complexity and multiplicity of which can make access difficult for the non-specialist.
