8. Other foreign regulations

8.1 In partner countries

Even if all European countries apply the same regulations, it can be interesting for competitive intelligence purposes to know how they have been implemented in neighboring countries, and with what administrative efficiency.

Particular mention should be made of the German regulations implemented by the Bundesamt für Wirtschaft und Ausfuhrkontrolle (Bafa), which provides German exporters with a number of tools.

It should also be noted that US regulations are more reactive than European regulations when it comes to incorporating revisions, which may temporarily distort competition.
