4. Conclusion
Since the late 1970s, strategic management has been enriched by numerous concepts, models and practices, notably imported from law, political science, economics, sociology and psychology. The result has been a diversification of representations of the company, a doubling of its dimension – both organizational and institutional – and, consequently, a renewal of approaches to diagnosis and strategic decision-making, as well as to the management of organizational and cultural change within the company. These changes have helped to transform corporate executives into "complexity managers" and "leaders" of socio-professional groups and networks (see table 6 ).
