4. Conclusion

This article deals with projects whose follow-up requires planning, and whose outcomes are used internally within the same legal structure as the project. These projects are referred to as "internal projects".

To ensure that every project brings benefits to the organization, managers need to take the time to understand where the critical aspects of project success lie, and check that these are being satisfactorily addressed. This set of activities is known as project supervision.

All strategic stakeholders are involved in supervision for the part of the project for which they are responsible. The ultimate decision-maker, the main users, the sponsoring organization and the project manager are all involved in supervision activities.
