Cloud Storage service providers offer an attractive alternative to the storage currently provided in data centers. Although the market for Cloud Storage services is still in its infancy, it represents a tangible shift away from in-house storage infrastructures (DAS, SAN and NAS). Cloud Storage aims to capture a share of the outsourced storage market. Outsourcing brings simplification, agility and lower costs to IT organizations.
