4. Quality controls and standards
4.1 Manufacturing controls
Controls must be carried out at all stages of the study:
control of active ingredients ;
control of solvents, additives, etc. ;
control of finished products.
These checks cover compatibility, vapor pressure, internal pressure (the packer must supply developed pressures at 20 and 50 ˚C), storage stability, leak tightness, technical performance of the formula and examination of its effectiveness, artificial aging (taking into account the geographical destination and conditions of use).
