2. Reliability

We are primarily interested in concepts here. For the theoretical aspect and reliability calculations, readers can refer to the reference [1] .

Reliability is defined as the ability of a device to operate without failure under given conditions for a given period of time. When quantifying this parameter, this ability is expressed as the probability of reaching a time t without failure.

For example: reliability (1,000 hours) = 98%, which implies that in 2% of cases, a failure must be accepted before the specified time.

It should be noted that absolute reliability (zero risk of failure or reliability (t) = 100%) does not generally exist, which is regrettable,...
