5. Electricity, wind turbines

Wind turbine blade walls are generally made of bonded sandwiches, with the leading and trailing edges in monolithic laminates (figure 12 ).

Interior stiffeners can also be glued to exterior panels.

Two-component, room-temperature-curing epoxies or polyurethanes with high mechanical strength and durability are used for these bonds.
