The manufacture of large hollow bodies produced by extrusion blow-moulding comes up against three main difficulties:
achieve the desired thickness distribution: while a uniform distribution generally reduces weight, speeds up cooling and reduces the risk of deformation, certain parts of the part (weld areas, neck, base, mounting bracket, etc.) may require specific values that must be guaranteed;
obtain the geometry corresponding to the theoretical definition: the parts produced are integrated into their environment with tight dimensional tolerances that must be guaranteed throughout the product's life;
guarantee the properties (mechanical, watertightness, permeability, etc.) stipulated in the specifications: concern for people's safety and the quality of our living environment...
