In all areas, modern distribution requires a packaging concept that guarantees safety and simultaneously saves money by ensuring that packaged products are properly preserved.

  • The use of gas to create a protective atmosphere (CO 2 , N 2 , N 2 O, Ar, He, or even O 2 ) prevented the product from being crushed by the vacuum, and the specific properties of the gas had a beneficial effect in preventing the growth of unwanted flora.

  • "Active" packaging absorbs residual oxygen, develops specific aromas, and even preservatives, thereby improving the shelf life.
