Toxicity of raw materials

The mixtures are composed of aliphatic diolefins (dicyclopentadiene CAS No. 77-73-6 for the most part). These products can be irritating to skin and eyes.

The criterion to be met is the average exposure value (AVE), which in France is set at 5 ppm or 30 mg/m ³ for 8 hours.

It should be noted that the olfactory detection value is 0.003 ppm.

Precautions and protection

In view of the toxicity involved, it is necessary to provide workplace exhaust ventilation, and to wear gloves and goggles.
