INTRODUCTION
Polydicyclopentadiene (PDCPD) occupies a special place in the field of polymers processed by the RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) process.
Most of them result from the polycondensation of a polyisocyanate with products containing mobile hydrogen groups, to give rise to polymers such as polyurethanes, polyureas...
Polydicyclopentadiene is a polymer obtained by chain polymerization.
This material can be processed in its pure resin state. Future developments will enable its properties to be modified by the addition of various fillers.
