4. Process developments
In order to maintain the competitiveness of this process, several avenues of improvement are being actively pursued: although more or less interdependent, they are presented separately below.
4.1 Changes to make work less arduous
We're talking here about the physical aspects of the equipment, in particular the gun: its mass, reactions in the hand during operating mode transitions between rest and spray position, between spraying resin alone and resin with reinforcements. Handling of the gun is also affected by the stiffness of the fluid supply hoses and their point of arrival on the gun. The ergonomics of the controls must also be taken into account. Guns generally have an aluminum body, cast, forged or machined from solid to combine strength and lightness....
