2.1 Positioning of cooling circuits
The aim of thermal control of injection molding equipment is threefold:
Maintain wall temperature at the level required by part quality while keeping cycle times economically efficient;
ensure that the temperature is as uniform as possible over the entire surface of the part during the moulding cycle;
quickly stabilize the average temperature of the tool surface at the desired level and avoid any drift over time.
