7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't settle for a granulometric measurement that stops at the honeycomb fraction (4 or 5 µm).

You need to determine the fraction starting at 0.1 microns (100 nm).

7.2 Do not systematically use physicochemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological data from the macro- and micrometer-sized powder fraction for the nanoparticulate fraction.
