4. Prepare, build and submit your application

ECHA describes the procedure and timetable for building your file, and provides you with technical guides, tools, sample documents, useful links, and more. Please refer to them ("Going further" section). Nevertheless, here are the key points.

Three main technical guides should be taken into account:

• preparing a request for authorization ;

• socio-economic analysis for authorization ;

• information requirements and chemical safety assessment.
