2. SDS heading 1: Identification

The product identifier must be provided in section 1 of the SDS. In the case of a substance, this is the name and identification number. In the case of a mixture, this is the trade name (Article 18 of the CLP Regulation).

Relevant identified uses are listed in section 1.

Heading 1 of the SDS – In practice

Use the product only if it is listed as not recommended by the supplier.

For industrial mixtures with a reduced CAP declaration, the unique formulation identifier (UFI) must be indicated in section 1.1 (see How to declare your products under SYNAPSE (Toxicovigilance)?
