 INTRODUCTION

You use a chemical product and generate waste such as production scrap, soiled packaging or rags, filters and other consumables. To determine your obligations in terms of traceability (articles R. 541-42 to R. 541-48 of Code de l’environnement relating to the control of waste treatment circuits) and disposal, you must first determine whether this waste is hazardous and assign it a code.

This sheet will help you to apply the methodology for classifying hazards, determining the waste code and identifying the obligations specific to certain waste streams.
