What are the regulatory targets?

The risk analysis to be carried out as part of an ED must meet the requirements of Article L.512-1 of the Code de l’environnement , namely:

"Where necessary, this study gives rise to a risk analysis that takes into account the probability of occurrence, kinetics and severity of accidents, according to a methodology that it specifies. It defines and justifies measures to reduce the probability and effects of accidents.
