4. How does crisis management work?
Once triggered, crisis management breaks down into four key stages.
4.1 First phase
It enables the cell to meet and take precise note of the facts. It is therefore essentially devoted to gathering the facts, which will then be used to assess the seriousness of the crisis and the behavior to be adopted. Access to the site must be controlled so that only people authorized by the crisis unit can enter.
An initial internal communication (employees, head office, etc.) is carried out, to take stock of the situation.
At the same time, the emergency team manages the event in the field, in constant communication with the crisis unit.
