4. What types of "packaging" or "large packaging" are approved?
The different types of approved "packaging" or "large packaging" are identified by a code. This code is made up of a number indicating the type of "packaging", according to the following nomenclature:
"1": barrel ;
"3": can (or jerry can);
"4": cash desk ;
"5": bag;
"6": composite packaging.
Composite" packaging consists of an inner container made of plastic, glass, porcelain or stoneware and an outer packaging made of another material. Once assembled, the inner receptacle and its outer packaging form an indivisible whole, the inner receptacle not being designed to ensure, on its own, the function of retention and resistance to approval tests.
