4. Health safety concept

Water intended for human consumption must comply with the quality limits and references specified in the Public Health Code:

  • not contain a number or concentration of micro-organisms, parasites or any other substance constituting a potential danger to human health;

  • comply with the quality limits and references specified in the decrees implementing the Public Health Code.

High-performance analytical methods enable us to detect a number of substances in water whose effects on humans are not yet well understood, leading to a lack of consumer confidence in water quality and a feeling that water pollution in general is on the increase.
