The term biocontrol covers plant nutrition and integrated crop protection, based on the use of living organisms and environmentally-friendly natural or mineral substances.
For modern, competitive and environmentally-friendly agriculture, both the agricultural engineer and the farmer need to consider a new strategy involving soil and crop protection.
