4. Multi-zone combustion model

In order to take into account aspects of space dimensions, which are inaccessible to 0D models, in diesel combustion models, it is necessary to divide the combustion chamber into several zones. All intensive quantities (pressure, temperature, concentrations) are then assumed to be uniform in each zone of the combustion chamber.
