3. Electrical conductivity

The method, which is not standardized, involves measuring the electrical resistance R across a cell immersed in the fluid, using an impedance bridge (conductivity meter). Electrical resistivity ρ is determined by the relationship (7) :

ρ = (S /L )R = K · R ( 7 )
