5. Zinc and magnesium alloys

Conventional designation
The designation follows the former NF A 02-004 standard and includes in order :
the Afnor symbol for zinc (Z) or magnesium (G);
followed by the Afnor symbols of the alloying elements in descending order of content, each accompanied by the content expressed as a percentage.
