7. Conclusion

From this second part of the methodology for choosing finite element modeling software (or a chain of numerical tools for mechanical analysis), we will focus on three key points:

  • The specifications formulating the expression of the need are an essential prerequisite: they must precisely analyze not only the modeling possibilities required, but also the context in which the software will be installed and operated;

  • Quality requirements must be formulated not only for the desired product, but also for the services offered by the supplier: adaptation to specific needs, training, processing of feedback and provision of upgrades;
