6. Applications

Based on the results obtained in this study, a number of applications have been implemented. This section presents some of the machining operations associated with industrial applications. Figure 18 shows that it is possible to achieve precise, fine machining for step-lap repairs using industrial material removal equipment. When milling composite plates (for repair machining), the loss of mirror symmetry in the stacking sequence causes out-of-plane deformation of the part. However, the depth machined by JEA depends very little on the cutting height
