Couche cosmétique ; Cosmetic layer

In the case of metal-ceramic or ceramic-ceramic crowns, a ceramic layer is applied to the metal or ceramic framework. The cosmetic layer alone fulfils the cosmetic and esthetic function.

Crown; Couronne
