2.1 Single-walled enclosure for the standard 900 MWe project (PWR 900)
The containment system for the REP 900 project consists mainly of a prestressed concrete cylindrical building 37 m in diameter and 59 m high. The cylindrical skirt has a wall thickness of 0.90 m, while the dome is 0.80 m thick. The 3.50 m-thick invert is made of reinforced concrete (figure 2 ).
