5.1 Single-stage open fluidized-bed heat exchange

We have seen that, in a closed reactor, the fluidizing gas leaves a fluidized bed at the same temperature $T_{l}$ as that of the particles in the bed. However, due to internal mixing, the product h _p · a _s can be considered very large, and we have :

T_{gs} = T_{l}
