Stoichiometric combustion; stoichiometric combustion
Combustion without excess or deficiency of air, where all available oxygen is completely consumed.
Combustion non stoichiométrique; non-stoichiometric combustion
Combustion with too much or too little air.

Thermodynamic diagram showing, for a given freezing temperature, the oxygen concentration [O 2 ] on the abscissa and the carbon dioxide concentration [CO 2 ] on the ordinate, for different values of the air factor λ and the ratio [CO]/[CO 2 ].
