2. Assess the different types of needs

For heating purposes, determining the water temperature curve is essential when evaluating the heating systems to be installed. This curve defines the water temperature at the outlet of the heating system based on the outdoor temperature.

The method of heat generation depends on this temperature level. In addition, efforts are always made to optimize the heat pump’s supply temperature based on the type of heat emitters to be used (underfloor or ceiling heating, radiant panels, etc.).

For simultaneous heating and domestic hot water needs, a configuration with two heat pumps operating in parallel or a single dual-purpose heat pump will be considered to achieve different temperature levels.
