7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't postpone maintenance or renovation work

This increases the risk of breakdowns and long-term costs.

In the renovation phase :

  • neither undersize nor oversize equipment when replacing it, which would result in new, unsuitable conditions of use;

  • Don't forget to check for regulatory compliance after the work has been completed, or you risk having to carry out new compliance work.
