Routing (tariffs)

Regulated tariffs set by the public authorities on the recommendation of an independent commission, to finance the fixed and variable costs of gas transmission and distribution networks. European directives require that access to these networks be free and non-discriminatory for all users (suppliers and consumers).

ATR (third-party network access); Third Party Access

The unbundling of electricity and gas generation, transmission, distribution and supply activities means that transmission and distribution networks must be open to all users, subject to payment of a toll. In the case of gas, there is an ATRT applicable to the transmission network and an ATRD applicable to the distribution network. In both cases, the tariff is set by the CRE.
