6.1 Respect meter installation rules
Because of their physical principle, fluid metering technologies (water, gas, air, steam, liquid fuel) generally require special installation rules to ensure representative flow measurement. Have these meters installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. In particular, pay close attention to the straight lengths available upstream and downstream of the meter, and avoid singularities (valves, elbows, double elbows, etc.).
