3. Air conditioning/domestic heating

The development of low-power NH ₃ -H ₂ O systems mainly concerns two markets:

• solar applications, using single-stage cycles;

• air-conditioning and/or gas heating, to achieve desorption temperatures compatible with GAX operation.

SolarNext (Germany) and PINK (Austria) offer chillers in the 10-20 kW range, mainly for solar applications. Robur (Italy) is active in the gas-fired heating and air-conditioning market, offering liquid chillers and heat pumps in the 20 kW range.
