COP; coefficient of performance

Ratio between the useful power produced (cooling or heating) and the total power consumed (electrical and thermal).

COA; coefficient of amplification

Ratio between thermal power produced (in heat pump mode) and total power consumed (electrical or thermal). Equivalent to COP _hot .

EER; energy efficiency ratio

Ratio between the cooling power produced (in refrigeration mode) and the total power consumed (electrical or thermal). Equivalent to COP .

GUE thermal efficiency; gas utilization efficiency

Ratio between the useful power produced (cooling or heating) and the gas power consumed.
