5. Dehydrogenation reactors
As with hydrogenation, the hydrogen flow rates to be restored can vary from one installation to another, over a wide range (from vehicle or hamlet supply to national strategic energy stocks). The characteristics and dimensions of the dehydrogenation reactors will therefore depend, on the one hand, on this range of hydrogen flow rates, and on the other hand, on the physico-chemical properties of the LOHCs chosen. As the process of cyclic hydrogen storage in LOHCs is still under development, or at the demonstrator scale, it will not be possible to describe reactors in operation here. However, some technologies are described in patents or articles.
