3. Pitched roofs and the use of waterproofing membranes
Sloped roofs are often sealed with traditional systems: tiles, slates, shingles, but there are also many cases where chipboard, steel tanks and other substrates need to be sealed.
We're going to take a look at a few classic cases that represent large markets and frequent occurrences.
High slopes (> 5%) often require the use of glued (or mechanically fastened) coverings.
To broaden our knowledge, we're going to study waterproofing systems using bonded or mechanically fastened elastomer sheets.
