Concrete
Building material made from a mixture of cement, sand, and gravel.
Cement
Mineral powder with hydraulic properties, forming a hardening paste when mixed with water.
Additions
Powders of mineral origin added to concrete to modify certain properties. They can be inert or reactive.
Binder
Name of the mixture of cement and additives used in concrete.
E/L ratio
Mass ratio of water to binder.
Cement hydration
Chemical reaction process that allows cement to harden when it comes into contact with water.
Heat of hydration
Heat released by cement during hydration....
