4. Methods of measuring temperature

The choice of a temperature monitoring system must take several criteria into account, including the hardware. The sensor must offer the required accuracy and the data must be collected appropriately. The depth at which the sensor can measure the temperature in the element is also an important factor. The concrete temperature measurement systems available on the market can be classified into the following categories:

  • wired probes and thermocouples;

  • fully integrated wired concrete sensors;

  • Fully integrated wireless concrete sensors.
