7. Conclusion

Table 4 lists the main materials used in building and civil engineering, and indicates the glues and adhesives that are generally suitable for joining these materials.

For each pair of materials, several adhesives are technically possible, i.e. they adhere to these materials under normal conditions.

We will then choose between the various possibilities according to :

• performance requirements (pull-out forces, water resistance, heat resistance, etc.);

• of the prize ;

• the application method ;

• safety.
