Article [C 4 316] defines the term "pavement support platform", or PST, as an assembly consisting of :

• of the soil (cut or fill, in situ or added soil) constituting the upper part of the earthworks, to a thickness of around 1 m ;

• any subgrade placed on the PST.

• To fulfil its role properly, this platform must possess a number of qualities:
