3. Conclusion

The concept of constructability, as explained above, is already of some interest.

  • He takes a fresh look at construction, in line with the emerging trend towards industrialization of the process;

  • it envisages a new economic model based on performance, which the proliferation of labels is still awkwardly anticipating before converging;

  • it also points the way to new research topics in simulation tools, particularly for upstream phases. But a new ontology of performance seems indispensable.

In fact, there is an even more important advantage to be highlighted. It involves all players in the construction value chain.
