Approche performantielle / Performance approach: A way of thinking that emphasizes quantifying and measuring the performance achieved during the design and construction phases, rather than following prescriptive rules. The aim is to promote the obligation to achieve results rather than the obligation to provide means.
Constructibility / Constructibity: Constructibility is an approach designed to provide reasoned assurance that the objectives of any construction project will be achieved over its life cycle. Its aim is to guarantee the performance expected by end-users.
Building quality / Qualité d'un bâtiment: Achievement of an overall level of building performance on delivery and throughout its life cycle. This level of performance is quantified and is the result of a multi-criteria or multi-component aggregation based on all its usage performances....
