4. Constructive fire prevention measures
4.1 Separation from other buildings
All buildings must be isolated from neighbouring structures:
or by a clear distance, measured horizontally, of at least 8 m in width ;
or by CF° 1 h or 2 h walls (or more in the case of certain hazardous, industrial or storage operations, 3 h for stores, showrooms, libraries, not fully protected by a sprinkler system, § ).
When activities are superimposed in the same building, isolation is achieved at the level of CF° separating floors and stairwells, which must be constructed using walls and doors with the required degrees of fire resistance. For facades, the C + D rule must be respected (§ )....
