1. The birth of BIM

Over the past decade, a number of factors have disrupted the world of construction. Between preserving the environment and preserving the client's wallet, consciences have been awakened by a profusion of principles, labels and objectives to be achieved.

At the moment, global warming is the subject of much debate, and in particular the issue of urban living, with urban heat islands and the preservation of water resources.

  • These include the Grenelle 1 and Grenelle 2 laws, the "Law on Energy Transition for Green Growth" (LTECV), which includes proposals for sustainable development projects:

    • Thermal Regulations 2012 (RT 2012) followed by ;

    • the 2020 environmental regulation
